AWS Startup Loft provides workspace all over the world for startups and developers to collaborate. The space provides an environment to network and accelerate innovation. Work areas and education sessions are available, along with expert advice from AWS specialists.
ABOUT
I was tasked with creating a new brand for AWS Startup Lofts. The initial branding included isometric skylines for each city that proved to be time consuming to create. The existing palette was muted and needed a bit of a boost. The visual system to build from was limited, and my goal was to provide an easy to use toolkit for creating assets.
ROLE
I designed a visual system that could be used over a variety of applications for both virtual and physical spaces. I started by removing the perspective from the skylines to align with the AWS illustration style. I also brightened up the palette, including different shades for flexibility. The pattern was created to add variety and relate back to the building blocks in the core brand.
